JOB DESCRIPTION

Support the learning of students in our summer school courses by assisting lead teachers to design, plan, organize, present and evaluate classes. Persons in this role will also work with other teaching staff to reflect, discuss and make suggestions to further improve the existing curriculum as well as the overall program.

General Duties and Responsibilities:
? Work with lead teachers to ensure a safe and stimulating learning environment
? Chaperone student field trips
? Translation of documents, when necessary
? Daily lesson and activity preparation and reflection
? Model positive personal conduct for students in and outside of classroom
? Communicate with parents promptly and professionally
? Participate in weekly discussion and reflection on curriculum and program
improvements
? Other duties as assigned

? Strong interest in international education
? Willing to work hard and comfortable with team work
? Ability and willingness to see differences and challenges as opportunities for personal and professional growth

Desirable qualities:
? Ability to coach a sport or experience running extra-curricular activity
