何宗道，1950年生于台湾，自幼学习武术，早期曾在台湾与香港担任特技演员。何宗道被称为“李小龙第二”，他的脸型身材都与李小龙相近，功夫也不错，尤其以模仿李小龙打斗时的动作和表情为最佳。他还主演了《李小龙传奇》（1982年）。在李小龙逝世后被香港制片商相中，开始以Bruce Li的艺名于武打电影中担任主角。

何宗道不认为自己对得住这个名字，他最崇拜的人是李小龙，他认为他永远无法取代李小龙，所以他曾经说过让大众不要称呼他的艺名Bruce Li,他更希望别人称呼他何宗道，Bruce Li只是片商为了考虑市场而起的名字。
他曾经为定为死亡塔的主角，但是他没有接受，最终这个角色给了韩国演员唐龙。
